Tisha B’av at Beit Daniel

Understanding Tisha B’av through the topic of exile

20:00 The evening will begin with the recitation of the traditional prayers, followed by the reading of the Book of Lamentations by candlelight. The reading will be accompanied by light music and singing.

Led by Rabbi Galia Sadan and Cantor Freddy Faur

Music and vocals: Shmuel Gal (guitar) and Michal Neve (vocals)

21:30: Lessons (in Hebrew)

Synagogue: Professor Yair Amit will talk about the origination of exile in the nation of Israel’s history

Hall: writer Roni Gelbfish will lead a writing workshop on “the despair of exile and redemption from exile.” This workshop is in cooperation with Sadnat Ha’bayit.
