Kehilat Halev – Community of the Heart, is one of Tel Aviv’s most dynamic and vibrant synagogues. The quaint building is located in the laneway off 48 Rashi Street, (Map) and set back into a lovely garden oasis, within the heart of Tel Aviv. Our inclusive Reform congregation is diverse and welcoming; attracting native Israelis, Olim (new Israelis), and visitors from abroad.

We cultivate the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam – to heal the world  and Tzedek – social Justice by participating in arts-based activities, as a creative expression of spirituality, Judaism and the study of Torah.  We are partners in community activities, which support the common good, through acceptance and mutual equality .

Kabbalat Shabbat is a unique Jewish spiritual and musical experience, in both English and Hebrew.  Kehilat Halev welcomes families, couples and singles of all ages to join us together, in creating an uplifting environment infused with traditional and contemporary prayers and melodies.

Kehilat Halev’s rabbi Rodrigo Baumworcel is delighted to serve as spiritual leader, to this flourishing community in Tel Aviv.

Kabbalat Shabbat services on Friday begin at:

5:30PM (winter)

6:00PM (summer)
