Shonim B’yahad Goes to Bialik Rogizin School
Earlier this week, we celebrated our latest installment of Shonim B’yahad at Bialkik Rogizin School, a local Tel Aviv school for children of migrant workers working and living in Israel. The exhibition of the children’s artwork both acknowledges the great diversity in nationalities present at Rogizin (in total, 51 nationalities are represented!) while also marking former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination 20 years ago.
The message is clear: to celebrate the diversity in our society through promoting tolerance of ‘the other,’ whether it be through race, creed, sex, nationality or class.
