Rabbi Alan Londy

Rabbi Alan Londy is a native of Troy, NY, and holds degrees from Cornell University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from HUC-JIR. His career has blended congregational leadership, pastoral counseling, and outreach, including leading conversion programs in multiple cities. He has been a strong advocate for interfaith families and the LGBTQ+ community. Currently, he serves as the rabbi of The New Reform Temple in Kansas City, MO. He is married to Jane Buxenbaum, a trained Reform Jewish educator and hospital chaplain, and has two children and five grandchildren. His daughter, Rabbi Leora Londy, served as the spiritual leader of Congregation Tiferet Shalom, one of the Daniel Centers.
