The Groom’s Voice and the Bride’s Voice: Weddings through Beit Daniel

Undecided about how you want to celebrate one of the most special occasions in your life?

We would like to invite you to an informational evening at Beit Daniel on egalitarian and Reform weddings. Over the course of the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet Rabbi Meir Azari, Senior Rabbi at Beit Daniel who has officiated hundreds of egalitarian wedding ceremonies over the years, and Attorney Nicole Maor,  who has a deep and intimate understanding of non-Orthodox wedding legal processes.

Rabbi Azari will explain how a Reform wedding ceremony works, the options you have, the Ketubbah, and choices for the huppah ceremony. Attorney Maor will explain the legal meanings and practical explanations of a Reform wedding, what are your legal powers, differences between a Reform wedding and a wedding through the Rabbinate or abroad, and what the implications are on a day-to-day basis and looking towards the future.

There will of course be opportunities for questions, chances to look at sample ketubbot, and to sign up for further information on Reform and egalitarian weddings at Beit Daniel.

The event is free, however, registration is required ahead of time.

Please send the names of individuals attending to laurie@beit-daniel.org.il
