Rock & Purim

Come in costume and bring your noisemakers!

Fulfill the four mitzvot: Megillah reading, Mishloach Manot – sending gifts, Matanot La’evyonim – giving to the poor, and  Simcha G’dola -Great fun! 

5:00 pm – Mishloach Manot/Gift baskets. Sessions for children and parents to prepare donations in gift baskets for deliveries.  A nominal fee of 20 nis is charged for delivery expenses. 

Matanot La’evyonim/giving to the poor.  Community cafe and bake sale run by community members. The proceeds from the sale will contribute to the purchase of Passover food crates for those in need. 

6:00 pm: Megillah reading for parents and children: A fun read accompanied by live music with Shimon Smith.  

7:30 pm:  Simcha G’dola/ Festive Megillah.  Traditional reading of the scrolls with alcohol, great joy and live music featuring Shimon Smith, Yoav Polachek, Michal Aharon and Lior Gravesky.  

Admission to the two Megillah readings is free!
