Poland: Then and Now

An exploratory trip to Poland with an emphasis on the Holocaust and Jewish renewal, with Rabbi Meir Azari

This coming July, we will leave for a trip to Poland that traces its glorious past through the ruins of Verona and the burgeoning renewals of today. The tour will be guided by Rabbi Meir Azari.

As a part of the tour, we will visit the vibrant cities of Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow and tour the historical sites in Lublin and Lodz. We will visit the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Majdanek and study Jewish history. Don’t worry, we will also stop at a few famous monuments! On Shabbat, we will be hosted at a Reform Jewish community in Warsaw and later at the house of Rabbi Meir Azari and Mrs. Anna Azari, the Ambassador of Israel to Poland. All of this and many more experiences will be packed into this 9 day trip.

This trip is intended for community members of the Daniel Centers, but we are happy for guests to join us on this trip as well.

We put great emphasis on the quality of the tour technically. We will be flying El Al, traveling on a coach bus and staying at reputable hotels. We will be providing a travel audio system and Rabbi Azari will be personally involved in planning and leading this tour.
