Kol Hatan ve Kol Kalah

Undecided about how you want to celebrate one of the most special occasions in your life?

We would like to invite you to an informational evening at Beit Daniel on egalitarian and Reform weddings! The evening will include discussions on:

  1. 1. How an egalitarian wedding incorporates both partner’s voices
  2. 2. The role of the ketubbah and what the huppah ceremony will look like
  3. 3. Explanation on the legality of a Reform wedding in Israel, what type of registration is necessary and the differences between a wedding abroad, a Reform wedding and a wedding through the Rabbinate
  4. 4. A chance to ask questions – including, what do you tell your parents who expect you to get married through the Rabbinate? (Or maybe, you can bring your parents with you to this event!)
  5. 5. Explore what musical options you can add to your huppah ceremony
  6. Light refreshments and coffee will be served.
  7. During the evening, you will have the opportunity to get to meet Rabbi Meir Azari, Senior Rabbi at Beit Daniel and head of the Daniel Centers, who has performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies, and Attorney Nicole Maor,  who has a deep and intimate understanding of non-Orthodox wedding legal processes. Shimon Smith, our song leader, will also be present to discuss musical options at your wedding.

The event is free, however, registration is required ahead of time.

Please send the names of individuals attending to tekes@beit-daniel.org.il
