Sukkot and Simchat Torah Activities at Beit Daniel
During Sukkot, we are told to rejoice, for the change in the weather, for the grain from the fields. Sukkot is also an opportunity to learn and create and meet other community members through fun activities! While most of the programs are free, don’t forget to register in advance.
Sukkah decorating workshop: fun for the whole family! – September 20th at 4:30 pm

Sukkah Story Time:

Activities for adults in the Sukkah:
* September 25th at 8:00 pm – “Sorry, what’s the question?”: A discussion on everything you wanted to know about female Reform rabbis but didn’t dare to ask. Free, but registration required: 03-544-2740
* September 29th at 9:00 pm – Concluding the Shabbat: havdallah service with Kehilat Halev and the Telem Youth Group
Activities for the entire family:
Community Coffee Shop in the Sukkah: Join the Beit Daniel in the Sukkah for some coffee and cake before Kabbalat Shabbat services – September 28th at 5:00 pm.
Kabbalat Shabbat services and kiddush to follow at 6:00 pm
Shabbat morning services – September 29th at 9:30 am
Erev Simchat Torah – September 30th
* 5:00 pm – Children’s activity: Simchat Torah decoration workshop with Klezmer musicians (20 shekels per child, registration required: 03-544-2740)
* 6:00 pm – services including hakafot with Klezmer music
Simchat Torah morning services including Yizkor – October 1st at 9:00 am
Hakafot Shniyot (second session of Torah dancing with accompanying musicians and drumming) – October 1st at 7:30 pm (this activity will be held at our center in Jaffa in front of Mishkenot Ruth Daniel)
