During this magical workshop series, you will have the opportunity to learn melodies and hymns to some of Israel’s greatest traditions throughout the years and liturgies from a variety of Jewish life cycle events and holidays. As a group, we will sing along with one of Israel’s greatest liturgists, Maureen Nehedar. This workshop will place a special focus on melodies for slichot and the New Year. This is a rare opportunity to learn poetic liturgies from one of Israel’s leading liturgists.

About the facilitator:

Maureen Nehedar – singer, creator, liturgist, and Israeli composer. Nehedar revived Jewish Persian traditional poetry. A few months ago, she released her latest critically acclaimed album, titled, “Asleep in the Bosom of Childhood.” Reaching the top of the charts, this album was wildly successful in Israel. Cost: 350 NIS. This series is composed of 7 meetings.
