High Holy Days at Beit Daniel 5786
After an incredibly painful and challenging year, we once again prepare to welcome in a new year. As Rabbi Yochanan Ben Zakai taught us, it is important to focus on the light we see in the world. Even as we carry with us the heartbreak and tragedy of this past year, we look forward with hope and strength.
This year, as we gather for the High Holidays, we lift our voices in prayer for the safe return of all the remaining hostages and for healing for the Jewish people, for Israel, and for the world. In a time when Israelis are uniting to build a better, more progressive society, the Daniel Centers for Progressive Judaism continues to stand as a beacon of light for all who seek a spiritual home to practice and celebrate their Judaism.
During this sacred season of reflection, your love, generosity, and dedication enable us to provide a safe and welcoming haven for Israelis and visitors alike. With the High Holidays approaching, please find below the schedule of prayers and related events. Together, we will pray, sing, reflect, and prepare ourselves for the year to come.
Please note that we expect our synagogue to be filled to capacity at Beit Daniel. We kindly request that all guests send their names and the number of people attending services to our office in advance.
If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to connect with us through our Facebook livestream, or to consider making a donation. Your generosity allows us to hold these services for the entire community, free of charge.
