Kehilat Daniel is located in Jaffa<\/strong> – a place with a beautiful mix of cultures and religions, where ancient to modern day history flourishes in coexistence.\u00a0 Community collaborations with Arab and Christian Israelis sharing pluralistic and modern worldviews aim to bring together the generations in celebrations and social action.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kehilat Daniel is open to residents of Jaffa and surrounding areas, and to anyone looking to experience Shabbat, Jewish holiday celebrations, festivals, and adult learning, in an environment of inclusion and equality.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kabbalat Shabbat<\/b>\u00a0 Jewish traditions are kept within an egalitarian and inclusive sanctuary of prayer and study.\u00a0 Services are led by Rabbi Binyamin (Benny) Minich, and often accompanied by our talented musicians. Families and singles of all ages and cultural backgrounds, add to the spiritual and enlightening atmosphere of Shabbat peace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adult Learning\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Life-long learning is at the core of Judaism and Rabbi Benny offers weekly courses to bring our ancient texts and stories into the perspective of a modern day Israel and people.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beit Midrash Ohel Sarah <\/span><\/i>explores the Jewish texts through learning and discussion each Wednesday at 7:00PM (in Hebrew).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
