Beit Daniel Synagogue and Community Center <\/b>is located in Tel Aviv’s Old North, across from<\/span> Park Hayarkon \u2013 the city\u2019s largest green space. Its model of Jewish values are rooted in equality and inclusion that has become an inspiration to Israelis of all backgrounds looking for a place to explore and observe the richness of Judaism, within the values of religious pluralism. Beit Daniel stands on three pillars: Learning, Prayer and Social Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its founding in 1991, it has brought Reform Judaism from the margins to the center of Tel Aviv’s religious and educational life and has become one of the leading cultural institutions in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thousands of Israelis and visitors from abroad take part in Kabbalat Shabbat, holiday events, and traditional ceremonies. Life-cycle events such as brit milah, b’nai mitzvah, and weddings are egalitarian, inclusive and welcoming to LGBTQ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beit Daniel operates the largest non-orthodox and state recognized conversion school.\u00a0 Choosing Judaism is a profound journey through a year-long study of Jewish values, history, Shabbat and holidays, contemporary Israeli holidays, life cycle events, prayer and rituals, creating a Jewish home and many more topics. Through the roots of Jewish cultures and customs those converting identify as Jews in their personal and communal relationship with “Am Israel”.<\/span><\/p>\n

We celebrate our diversity while adhering to traditional Jewish values that link us to our rich heritage. Beit Daniel is proof that Progressive Judaism has a future in Israel, and that Tel Aviv-Jaffa is its natural center.<\/span><\/p>\n
