Our tours in Jaffa, described below, explore the ancient roots of the city and how they led to Jaffa’s dynamic life and atmosphere today.

The Co-Eexistence Tour brings together a Jewish and Arab tour guide to explore the mixed city of Jaffa, where Arabs and Jews live side by side, tracing the different historical narratives and the possibility of creating a common future and shared society.

The Bread and Butter Tour follows the wonderful smells and tastes of bread and tells of bread´s place in traditions, faiths, and daily rituals across cultures and religions. Through our visits to the bakeries that are an integral part of the texture of Jaffa life, we come to understand the saying "Im ein lechem, ein Torah" (If there is no bread, there is no Torah).

The Jonah and Jaffa Tour finds Jaffa´s place in the holy texts of the Mosaic religions. Within Jaffa’s alley ways, we dive deeply into the sea with Jonah and the the whale as well as the Nicanor Gates. We grapple with the experience of faith and the loss of faith, and the differences between destiny and free choice, between man and place and, mostly, between man and himself.
